MAYBE YOU CAN HELP ME. I WAS PUT IN A PLACE THAT I WAS TOLD WAS CORSICANA STATE HOME. I WAS 18 MONTHS OLD AND WAS THE ONLY BABY THEY EVER HAD.I WAS BORN IN 1953.IT WAS A GOOD PLACE. MY QUESTION IS --IS CORSICANA STATE HOME STILL THERE. IF SO, COULD YOU PLEASE E-MAIL ME THE PHONE NUMBER. I HAVE SO MANY GOOD MEMORIES OF MY HOUSE PARENTS --MRS FERGUSON AND MRS FARMER(MY FAVORITE). Great fun.  Check out the prices of long distance calls - it cost $1.60 to call Chicago back when that would have bought about six hamburgers!  My current rate from Scotland to any place in North America is 1p per minute (2 cents)...

I was looking for a copy of the phonebooks for Corsicana from 1967 to 1968.  I was looking for my folks name for the first phone that I remember having.  I didn't find that, but this is great.  Never expected to see the entire book scanned on here.  Wonderful job, and I did find many entries that brought back wonderful memories.
