Hunter Scott Fontaine (August 20,2006)Hunter Scott Fontaine arrived August 20, 2006, weighing in at 5 lb 6 oz and 18"long. This is Bob's first blood grandchild, son of his youngest, Scott Fontaine. Hunter is the third grandchild of Gail and Brian Stevens, son of daughter Beth...Arriving one month early, he is doing just fine and parents are very happy!
Update: At 3 weeks, Hunter weights 6lb 9oz and is 19 1/2 in long. He gained 13 oz in a week. |

Beth and Scott's Baby Shower (July 16, 2006)Beth and Scott enjoyed quite a baby shower Sunday at the American Legion in Northbridge. I don't know how that baby boy is going to wear all the clothes he got! It's the first time I've seen both mom and dad up there opening presents, but that's Scott!
We love them both....including the new little guy who will be here in September. |

Landry Arrives (July 6, 2006)Landry Joseph Fitzgerald arrived on July 6, 2006 about 9:00a.m. Weighing in at 9 lbs 12 ozs, Landry is 22 inches tall.
He received a perfect bill of health and he will go home with mom and dad, all set to start his new life with his new family.
Brother Shayne, now 14 months, offered Landry a cracker when they met for the first time ;) |

Trees are down and rocks are being used to harden the area where the driveway will be. Beth's dad, Brian, is driving the big 'toy'..

As another adult who earned her degrees while working full-time, I understand the great feelings that Homer has today. His mom, Barbara Rajotte, wife Sharon Rajotte, and in-laws, Michelle and Robert Fontaine are very very proud of him. |

Rockdale, MA flood of 2005 (October 15, 2005)| These images are from the center of Rockdale Village in Northbridge, MA on October 15, 2005. The last flood of this type was in the 1970's and then there was a worse one in 1955. My husband, Bob Fontaine, watched that one as a child and said the water was much worse. It reached the roof lines of the businesses on Main Street. It was very polluted with the chemicals and paints from the factories. The effects of pollution were not understood then as they are now. He and the other kids were playing in the flood water, as kids love to do on rainy days! The water of this flood smelled pretty bad, like dead fish. Yuck! |

Greenway Challenge 2005 (September 24,2005)| A perfect day, 71 teams, 5 categories. Sheryl, Kris and Sue formed RJ Duclos Painting team. They were the first female team last year and a category was created this year. AND this year they came in first place! 7 segments including kayaking, bicycling and running. Each girl did 2 segments and one did 3. |
