Excitment levels were high as NFL Legedary Tight End Todd Christensen visited Veterans at the VA Hospital is SLC, UT. The entire Hospital caught Oakland Raider Fever!
Here Todd shows his Two Super Bowl Rings to this awesome Airforce Veteran. Mr Christensen is also an Honorary Life Member of the "Blue Star Riders."
"Blue Star Rider" Jerry Bishop was also making the rounds. The Big Teddy Bear has a Heart of Gold when it comes to our Veterans!
Each of the Veterans were getting pictures taken with the future Hall-of-Famer, and having them sent to them as a gift from the "Blue Star Riders."
PLT Joe, a 14 year army Veteran is on a cloud as he get to try on a pair of Super Bowl Rings!
IED Ewell Loves to hear Veterans tell their stories. So many have sacrificed so much... The general population really has no idea of the magnitude of selfless service and sacrifices made by so many on their behalf.
Mr Christensen Autographed 8x10 photos and footballs both to give to each Veteran. Awesome!
One of our VA Hospitals own "Superstars," Greg, is the gentleman in this photo with Todd
Time to sign more footballs. In this photo with the NFL Star is our VA Hospital Volunteer Services Manager Mrs Belinda Karabatsos. A Superstar herself when it comes to our Veterans!
You know this character talked his way into sporting a couple of Super Bowl Rings because of that neck Lanyard he is wearing... A true Oakland Raider Fan!
What some awesome rings! Dang! I just found out I am the only one that had to pay $20.00 a piece to wear the rings!(just kidding)... It was only $10.00 each I had to pay (ha, ha).
Not to be overshadowed is a couple of "Defenders of Freedom!" Flanking Mrs Karabatsos, is Master Sergeant Ryas (left) and Colonel Pomeroy, the Commander of the U.S. Army Deseret Chemical Depot. They never miss an opportunity to check on our Veterans!
This Singer, Song Writer, and Guitar Picker is a Veteran himself. My friend Dennis never misss an opportunity to entertain the Veterans in the Lobby while they wait for their appointments or rides home. Great Job Dennis!
