Blue Star Riders Observe Memorial Day in Utah:
We bow our heads in silent grace; Proud to stand upon this Place.   To honor those who we love and lost; whose lives were taken at such a cost.   Through the pain and sorrow, for all the brave and true; To always be remembered by me and by you.
To heal the minds and hearts, of those who still live; Always remembering what they had to give.    Live your lives with pride in hearing what I say; May God bless and keep you on this, and every day.    (by Mark A. Wright)

24. WWII Veteran Receives Cane From BSR's  (May 22nd, 2010)
WWII Veteran (Captain) Ernest M. Chamberlain, was the proud and humble recipient of a cane today, presented to him by the Blue Star Riders in Utah. The Cane was made by Master Wood-Carver Jack Nitz, of the Eastern Oaklahoma Wood Carvers Association, and founder of the Eagle Cane Project. Mr. Chamberlain, age 94, can recall vividly details of his experiances in WWII, from his landing at Utah Beach in Normandy, to the Battle of the Buldge, where with General Bradleys 1st Army and General Pattons 5th Army they flanked and defeated their foe. Mr Chamberlain was very moved by the gift of his cane, "To think that someone would care so much to say thank you after so many years..."  Blue Star Riders Care! Thank-You Captain Chamberlain, for your Honorable Service and Sacrifices, that still matter today. You helped change the world!

Blue Star Riders Gordy and Terra Ewell were interviewed by ABC, Channel 4 News. They were able to talk about the Blue Star Riders, Their Mission, and what an important role they play in the healing of our wounded warriors.  They were also able to talk about other issues that are of concern to our veterans, such as Veterans Nursing Homes, Fisher Houses, and how a small investment of just a little volunteer time can make all the difference in the world to a recovering soldier.
