"Frick" and "Frack"
2. "Frick" and "Frack"
These two little brothers, seen together ALL the time, are best described by the information below. (And by the way, each of them is SO far off the "sweetness" scale, it's too much!!)

They were born 11-12-07, very much smaller than the rest of their litter, and they're going to mature into smaller than average adults.

They are now looking for their new families to give them wonderful homes, and in return, they offer a lifetime of fun love!

Enjoy their album!

(About the history of their names):

"Frick and Frack" remains a fairly common phrase in North America for any two people who are closely linked in some way.

The origin is ultimately and undoubtedly in a famous partnership of Swiss comedy ice skaters, Werner Groebli and Hans Mauch, whose stage names these were.
They came to public fame in the later years of a series of skating spectaculars called Ice Follies, which began in 1936 and ran for almost 50 years.

Their association lasted so long, and they were at one time so well known, that their names have gone into the language.

Frick took his name from a small village in Switzerland;
Frack is a Swiss-German word for a frock coat, which he used to wear in the early days of their skating act.
They put the words together as a typical Swiss joke.”

The "On Your Mark" Litter
3. The "On Your Mark" Litter  (December 14, 2007)
"Parfait" X "Albert" Babies

On October 22, 2007, Parfait presented us with four lovely hairless girls.

At birth, while they still had their puppy coat, they were a spectrum of chocolate hues, from a rich, dark, liver chocolate, to a delicate shade of gold.

As they lost the puppy coat, their colors/shades changed dramatically.

This litter illustrates the necessity for correctly describing (naming) their colors very early, before the puppy coat is shed.

In American Hairless Terriers, it's the only way the true genetic color information is not lost.

"Skeeter"
5. "Skeeter"
There's no way to explain what this little guy means to us, & for dog folks, it's not necessary anyway!!

Suffice to say, he's SUCH a hoot!

He's one that goes with us to every dog show, or wherever else the RV goes.

No WAY would he let us leave him behind!!

Rat Terriers
12. Rat Terriers  (November 30, 2004)
We are not going to breed any more rat terrier litters, as we feel we don't have the time and resources for more than one breed.

Since we feel we cannot do justice to this wonderful breed, we have placed all but one of our rat terriers with breeders we respect, or as spayed or neutered pets with their new families.

We're keeping Merry Lee, for a future outcross litter.

This folder has albums for our rat terriers from the past.
