COSHOCTON, Ohio – Shortly before noon, on Saturday November 1, 2008, a call came into the 911 center reporting that a home at 1801 Walnut Street was on fire, and there was the possibility of someone still in the home. The tones were dropped for the Coshocton Fire Department and Engine 303 and Ladder 307 quickly went en route. Finding the burning home was not a problem for the firefighters. The burning home was located on a hill in town, and the smoke was visible from the apron of the fire station, and from the town of West Lafayette 7 miles away.  For more information Click Here

COSHOCTON, Ohio – On Sunday evening September 14, 2008, in a quiet town, due to the recent wind storm that knocked out most of the power in the city of Coshocton and state of Ohio, came multiple calls to the Coshocton 911 Center reporting that a house on North 12th Street was on fire. The tones immediately dropped for the Coshocton Fire Department. The first trucks out of the station were Engine 303 and Ladder 307.  For more information Click Here

WARSAW, OH – On September 7, 2008, a Railroad Street resident had awoken to find that a nearby house was on fire. He called the Coshocton County 911 Center, and told them that the house had flames coming out the doors and windows, and that he believed that the house was vacant. At 5:00 a.m. the Walhonding Valley Fire District (WVFD) was paged out to the structure fire.  For more information Click Here

WARSAW, Ohio – On August 19, 2008, a passerby in an automobile, stopped at the Walhonding Valley Fire District station, and reported that a hillside just west of Warsaw on State Route 36 was on fire. Firefighters, who were on station at that time, went en route in Brush 708 to the scene at about 2:48 p.m. Also going en route was 704 with the gator in tow. For more information Click Here

ORANGE, Ohio – Shortly after 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2008, the tones were dropped for the West Lafayette Fire Department (WLFD). The dispatcher advised the fire company that they had a call from a home owner on Oxford Township Road 506 in Orange stating that their home was on fire and that everyone was out of the house. WARSAW, OH – On Sunday, June 22, 2008, at approximately 9:30 p.m., several phone calls came in to the Coshocton County 911 center and was reporting a large fire upon a hill visible from State Route 36 and near Township Road 28.
