SparkyDog (January 23, 2003)Sparky may have been born some time in 1995-96. We aren't sure of his age but he's no spring chicken, we've had him since January 2003.
He was rescued from a neglectful/abusive home with many other dogs, he spent well over a year at the shelter where he was adopted and returned a few times. He was supposed to be euthenized for bad behavior but lucky for him he had a fan that took him home until a new home(ours) could be found.

She's a Besenji mix that was born some time in 2000.
We adopted her on February 14, 2004
Coco was adopted and returned 7 times over a 4 year period at the APL, she's a runner and a nipper, but she seems to have adjusted rather well here with us.
We planned on another dog when Sparky was having trouble getting around and not able to play with Lucky so much. Lucky and Coco are good friends now, they both have a very similar personality.
