pregnancy & Birth Photos (September 2, 2002)Pictures of Galaxies babies right after birth, with afterbirth still on them. I was lucky enough to watch, even video tape her give birth on March 1, 2002 at 11:30am.
Raven decided to have her babies while I was out, I must have walked in within an hour after they were born, they were still all wet and unsteady on their feet. She gave birth 7/18/02 around 9:30am
Little Pig had her babies at 12:35am on February 21, 2003. I went to check on her and she had her first baby and was working on #2. I had the camera's ready :)
Beauty was a rescued sow from a backyard in Wisconsin- Beauty lives in Minnesota with a friend of mine. She gave birth to 7 pups on June 29 - sadly only 4 made it.
Cinnamon came from the same place as Beauty, but she got to travel back to Ohio to have her babies here with me. She delivered around noon on 7-2-03 two beautiful babies, unfortunatly I just missed it!
Darla came from a large rescue that happened in Southern Ohio, I got her on March 20th and she delivered on March 30th at about 6pm. She and her two babies have since been adopted by great families.
Precious entered our rescue on 8/12/04 and delivered three babies on 8/19/04. Unfortunatly, one was stillborn. One of the other babies was born with a severe head tilt, but it cleared up within a couple days. Both babies have been placed into new homes, Precious is still waiting to be adopted.
Mystic, Diva, Emma and Nikkie entered our rescue on November 6, 2004. We're currently waiting for them and some other sows that were also brought in with them to deliver. Check back for updates.

Gone But Not Forgotten (No Date)Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
