The sink that was my pain
This is the faucet that started the journey.  That darn hot water tap would only produce a trickle - the old galvanized pipes were rusted shut.  The joint looks like crap - no thanks to the sparse amout of PEX fittings available

PEX meets galvanized
Originally I'd planned on taking all the galvanized from a T intersection on down, but I couldn't get the galvanized to unthread without busting it elsewhere - so I cut my losses and went for it.

The old stuff
Yuck, 50 year old galvanized pipe is a mess.

Bathroom faucet hot water supply
The pipe is almost completely rusted shut, no wonder my water flow sucked.

Clean water for your babies
I'm wondering how much I've poisoned myself using that water.  Granted its mostly just rust, but all the same.  BTW: thank you Mr. Saws-all.  "I love the saw, the saw's a part of me, yeah I'm gonna make it part of YOU!"  With apologies to the "Running Man".
