Amanda ECHALAZ (as Salome in Richard Strauss's opera of the same name) contemplates the prospect of demanding the head of John the Baptist.

Amanda represented South Africa in 'Cardiff Singer of the World in 2005.  Future engagements include the title role of 'Tosca' for English National Opera!

In 2009 she will cover the role of Marietta in 'Die Tote Stadt' at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
