Three-part thin zigzag braid - these are woven like any 3-part (hair) braid. This is easier to do than 4 part zigzag braids.
The braid has a slightly open texture that lets the background colour show through. The ends of the strips are staggered, just like with a Wavy 3-part braid, so it does not make a full 12".

Irregular 4 part scenic braids - these fall coloured borders are not exactly symmetric, two of the colours maintain the same relative position to each other (like 2 halves of a full sized zigzag), and are more visible at the edges of the braids. The other two strips are woven as usual.
