A couple years ago I rigged up a El. start by using a Starter-Generator an a "V" belt around the flywheel, it works great, normally these engines are started with a Hand Crank!

Power is provided by a 6 HP Fairbanks-Morse Engine. I remowed the org. fuel mixer and replaced it with an Zenith updraft carburator in order to have better speed control Works great!
