Every piece shown in this collection has been meticulously researched and verified as D&E. Many were featured in Katerina Musetti's wonderful book, "The Art of Juliana Jewelry". I have loaded the backs of many of these sets in order to help educate those who have a desire to learn. After all, it's the glitz that draws our attention but the backs tell the story.
Many of these items have been sold but I carry a large, constantly changing inventory of authentic D&E in my shop. If you have any questions or just care to look around you can reach me through this shop at the following link: Deb's Vintage Costume Jewelry

The pastel rhinestone cameos are some of the most difficult D&E cameos to find, but in my opinion they are well worth the search.

Notice the variety of brooches available for this set. D&E made something for everyone.

Translucent Cameos

The Red Translucent Cameos are extremely rare and I only have one due to the good will of a very good friend in the business.

There is a variety of faux tortoise shell cameos.

This set is done entirely in smoked topaz rhinestones and is very elegant.

Notice the carved slag glass behind the cameo silhouette.
The clampers are some of the most treasured pieces in the D&E line. It generally only takes one before you're hooked.

The foil back cameos in good condition are rare since the foil is exposed and is often damaged, so if you want to buy a piece in this line make sure you know the condition of the foil backing.

This set is unusual, both in the dancing maidens cameo and the velvet ribbon. I have also seen it in black.

The courting couple was a hand applied decal. If you look closely you can see two different scenes.
The carved roses have a beautiful irridescent glow to them. There is also a purple set but I have not yet been able to get one into my grasp to photograph it.

I believe I have every color of peacock here, but I also know as soon as I write this another will show up somewhere.

Notice the gorgeous matching earrings. It's very rare to get a matching set with the peacocks. The earrings seem to have been lost over the years.

I don't believe D&E intended for the following sets to be seen as owls, but most jewelry lovers can certainly see the resemblance. I think these three are rather whimsical.

This set is absolutely stunning in person - in every color in which it was made. I believe the only color I don't have represented here is the red set and it is to die for! But then, I'm very partial to red jewelry.

This color is really magnificent in person. It is one of my all time favorite D&E sets.

There were often subtle differences in D&E sets. Notice the use of large emerald green chatons in this set whereas the folloiwng set is the same except light sapphire blue chatons were used. It has the tendency to make collecting entire sets somewhat difficult.

It's difficult to tell in the pictures but the clamper bracelet and the large brooch in the following green and blue sets are BIG, massive, very substantial pieces.

Belt is signed KJL (Kenneth Lane), brooch has Juliana hang tag. The brooch has crystal rhinestones in the dangles whereas the belt has turquoise rhinestones. Otherwise they are a perfect match. Just another indication of the many companies that D&E manufactured for.
8/11/09 per Mr. DeLizza this set was manufactured by D&E for Hattie Carnegie.

This set was verified as being made by D&E by Mr. Frank DeLizza through The DeLizza & Elster Jewelry Education site 26 Aug 2009. I suspect this set was made for Alice Caviness or Kramer due to the filigree balls and molded roses used by these companies.

absolutely the MOST stunning collection I have seen...but then, probably not that much D & E in the entire state of Idaho! WOW - Char in Idaho, Mon, 1 Dec 2008 9:26AM
Wonderful collection; I have several pieces that match some of yours and some that you don't have. Do you ever put prices on yours so a person knows basically what an item is worth? I know you are not selling, but I am having to sell some pieces, and it's difficult to determine prices on the really beautiful pieces. - Beth, Tue, 18 Nov 2008 6:34AM
I have never seen such a stunning display :0 WOW!! - Jennifer, Mon, 3 Nov 2008 3:30PM
