1950 Dodge Power Wagon B-1-PW 126

Frame-off restoration of US Forest Service truck from Idaho. 230ci flathead six-cylinder engine, 4-speed non-synchro transmission, 2-speed transfer case, 5.83 gears, non-directional military tires, Dualmatic locking hubs, upgraded carburetor, converted to key-start. Insulated cab and doors. White oak bed wood with stainless steel skid strips. Top speed about 55mph. Only 1700 miles since restoration. Asking $75,000 obo. Delivery can be arranged.

25 US Forest Service truck from dry eastern Idaho. Originally painted Dodge Truck Dark Green.	26 Delivered to PA for restoration.	27 Stored in an old barn on our farm until workspace was available	28 My son, Nick. He is 33 now!
29 Express (pick-up) bed with wood floor	30 Bed removed from frame. 1950 was the last year for the first series (4 stake pocket) express bed. Fenders were removed for repair due to damage from tire chains.	31 Frame ready for sandblasting. Rebuilt axle assembly with new tires in the background.	32 Front axle with all new bearings, bushings, and oil seals
33 Chassis painted with self-etching primer and Martin Senour chassis black. Wheels painted with acrylic enamel in Pontchartrain (Pine) Green.	34 "Before" picture of flathead six cylinder 230ci. engine	35 "After" picture of engine professionally rebuilt.	36 New Process non-synchromesh transmission professionally rebuilt
37 Bellhousing with new pedal shafts and bushings	38 Flywheel resurfaced	39 Randall Kennedy son help me get the engine and transmission ready for installation	40 Engine and transmission installed. Braden MU-2 winch rebuilt and installed.
