TUCSON, ARIZONA TRIP - NOV 2009
For our 58th Anniversary, Lea and I drove to Tucson, AZ for a few days at a favorite place, the Westward Look Resort.  After a cloudy first day, a little light rain the next day, we enjoyed two more days of near perfect weather.

For sight seeing and photographs, most of our time was spent in the Saguaro National Parks, one Northwest and the other Southeast of Tucson.

Saguaro's are King of the cacti, slow grow, long life, and home to animals and creatures who burrow into their trunk for shelter.

14
We understand that Saguaro's thrive when their seeds are protected by other growth, like bushes and trees.

Reminded us of us 58 years ago, when we were lean and not mean (well maybe the Marine part of me was mean).
