BIG SUR & CARMEL BY THE SEA
Here is a collection of photos from our road trip to Carmel and Big Sur last week.  Highway 1 is closed to through traffic, requiring travel to Carmel via Salinas.  Once in Carmel, one can drive south on Hwy 1 for 64 miles to the closure, and that was enough to get us past Big Sur and to enjoy miles of stunning views.

It's hard to say which landscape feature is most prominent, the ocean or cypress trees?

As we were leaving the dining room after dinner we spotted Eastwood at the bar talking to several people.  He didn't notice us.

Images 3 through 10 were taken along Scenic Rd. on the Carmel beach.  Cypress trees dot the landscape throughout the area.

We stayed at the Colonial Terrace Inn, one block from the beach in a long established residential neighborhood, very quaint and quiet.

Someday, some how, I am determined to verify who actually takes these beautiful photographs.

Great shots of the most beautiful spot in the world.  Do you have a new lense with a filter - the photo quality is spectacular
