May Day Metric (Sunday, May 3)| The COGS crew participated in Phil the Mechanic's May Day Metric which is neither on May Day nor is it a metric century. It was 76 miles of new (to us) roads, scenery, friendly towns and pie at the finish-line bar. |

Rollercoaster to Gig Harbor (Saturday, April 25)| Louise led a group of 8 on a fabulous 60 mile up-and-down route from Southworth to Port Orchard and Gig Harbor, and then back to catch the Southworth ferry via Olalla. |

Martha's Training Ride over Cougar Mtn (Saturday, April 11)| On what ended up being a great day for riding, eight COGS set out from the I-90 tunnel, heading for Issaquah. We climbed over Cougar, spent a lot of time resting in Issaquah and took a spin around Mercer Island. |

Ron's Lake WA Ride (Saturday, March 21)| We finally got some sun on this first full day of spring! The goal of the ride was to visit the newly opened Papaya restaurant in Renton, co-owned by Ron's in-laws. On the way, we were treated to sunshine and views. |

Tour de Fuel- Ride for Pie (Saturday, February 21)| A pie feast on wheels! We visited all three Fuel Coffee locations (Wallingford, Montlake and Capitol Hill) which is also the home to High Five Pie. A bunch of pie lovers on a beautiful route with gorgeous weather. Definitely a recipe for an annual COGS Event! |

Ken's Tacoma Vashon (Saturday November 22 2008)| Another great COGS ride! Ken Winkenweder lead Bill, Martha, Ron, Jim and Mark from Fauntleroy to Tacoma and back over Vashon. It Was cool but dry, with great views! We all made the Seattle ferry with moments to spare. |
