I have the little bird that's No. 259 and would love to find out more about it. Does anyone have any information? Is it gold vermiel? Is it a Gene Verri piece? (It looks so much likke his other figurals, I suspect so.) Has anyone come across it in a book? - Jo Anne, Wed, 8 Aug 2012 6:52AM
I have an identical set of the cute "mr. & Mrs. Bird pins. They are not signed so are they Coro? I would appreciate it if someone would let me know. Thanks - Pat Alexander, Sat, 4 Dec 2010 9:09PM
I bought the coro heavenly swallow pins, a set of three about twenty years ago. They are sterling and appear to be covered w/ a rose gold like metal. How do I clean them or should I? - cathy vice, Tue, 17 Nov 2009 8:57PM
Luda, I have just discovered this site. It has a wealth of information. I was looking for a sterling brooch with two birds in a circle - nothing outstanding! Some of the pieces you show are fabulous! Norma - Norma, Thu, 16 Apr 2009 2:40PM

Hi Luda :) I've referenced your site often, still love it. I have a 1941 Mother Goose pin, like your two examples, though mine is yet another color, Pink with a Blue Cabochon and is marked, "Des.Pat.Pend." I thought perhaps these were kind of rare pins, any insight, please? And again, thanks for the hard work you put into this fabulous site! Warm Regards, Robin - Robin Miller, Fri, 18 Jan 2008 3:26PM
Luda, I had an unusual old painted Coro bird and would like to share the picture with you and ask if you have any info. on it. The html is http://www.artworks30217.com/sitebuilder/images/DSCN0061.jpg. - AnniePopes, Thu, 21 Jun 2007 8:48PM
I have pat # 147244 if you would like to have a picture I would be happy to send it to you if you would give me an email address to send it to. I also have what appears to me to be 134969.
I've got three retrobird pins. All have blue rhinestone eyes and two green and one gold rhinestone on tail. I've found others online but they all seem to have different color stones. Also the pin backs are all different. Some placed horizontally, some vertical and some diagonal. Mine are horizontal, the length of the bird. Any idea which ones are original design? You've got a great reference websight here! Thanks! - Judy McBane, Tue, 16 Jan 2007 2:22PM
I have a sterling genuine Norseland large bird pin, framed, 3" x 1 1/2"[with leaves and berries]; not sure of species-long beak, large wing-tail ends in swirls. Viking ship logo on back; reg. U.S. Pat. Off. any ideas? - Harvey, Sun, 8 Jan 2006 11:32AM
