Danny - Hiking up the E Fork Buttermilk Trail to Hoodoo Pass.  It was sunny with blue skies when we started out but the clouds soon rolled in.  This was a new way in as we usually we come in via the Eagle Lakes Trail over Horsehead Pass.

Derek - we hiked up the trail and made do with a substandard campsite off the trail as the cloudy skies changed to rain.  The next day we found the usual mid trail camp about 20 minutes up the trail.

On our second day we climbed to Hoodoo Pass - couldn't see much as it was raining and misted in.  We had planned on taking a high route to Bernice Lake, but the inclement weather caused us to drop down to "Junction Camp" - located at the junction of the Eagle Lakes/Cub Lake Trail with the Chelan Summit Trail.

Danny and Roger - we spent a leisurely day in camp - its a great bad weather camp.  There used to be a back country ranger guard tent across the stream, but it was gone.  There was a cache under a tarp where Danny got this lawn chair and an axe (returned when we left).

Derek, Shelby, and Roger - The night before I was too tired for dinner and I retired into my tent (in background).  Danny was cooking dinner just outside my tent when we had a catastrophic pump failure on my Dragonfly stove.  I saw a huge orange glow outside my tent - quick action by Shelby put out the fire by throwing dirt over the stove.
