Roger & Bill resting at Camp 4 (also Camp 2) at mouth of Trail Canyon.  It was hot and sunny when we arrived at our campsite but it soon clouded up and we had rain in the evening, which forced Danny to end his streak of tentless nights that had dated back to 1999.

View of eastern end of Big Ledge Ruin - if you zoom the photo you will see Shelby in the alcove at the center of the photo.  We had missed the cairns for the trail and continued up wash till we hit the pouroff pool.  Shelby climbed up the wall but I had to backtrack around.

Looking back across canyon from Big Ldege - this was as far as I got - you could scramble up the ledge to the right and see more ruins but it looked a little dicey for a 60 year old. Shelby had no trouble, however, but then he can climb like a monkey.

Above Big Ledge  Trail canyon becomes choked with boulders - a "trail" of sorts skirts the obstacles on the left side (looking down canyon).  This photo is where the side trail joins the wash above the obstacles seen here looking down canyon.
