This year, the group sailed to LEWIS CREEK and a nice sandy landing at the entrance.

Born To Raise Sail Gathering 2008

An early season strong Northerly brought wind, rain, rising water, and a Gale on Sunday.  Most got out friday in excellent conditions, a few sailed saturday in the rain and increasing wind.  On sunday, none ventured out in the gale wind conditions.

These are homemade ( Windskates ) built with skateboard trucks, blades crafted from cold rolled steel, wooden stair step, non skid, and powered by windsurfing rigs.   Ice Sailing on Lake Ronkonkama, Long Island, 2005 and 2007 in light winds.
