We have began the wonderful journey of doing some actual HUNTING with our dogs... Thanks in large part to the tremendous amount of help and guidance given to me by a great hunter & a wonderful man (who also happens to be my dad), John Atencio.
So far, our dogs have been hunted on coons and rabbit, and used for flushing doves. This fall we plan to try them out on flushing pheasant and ducks, and this winter they will be hunted on bobcat! I am really looking forward to that last one...

Not a very big coon, but I was proud of how well the dogs worked, and how HARD they worked to get him.

39 At 1-year-old, and also his first time out, we threw Riddick in with some of our English Redticks on a coon... He jumped right in there and took care of business!!!
40 Dawn just kind of hung back, she was intimidated by the bigger dogs. Not Riddick though, he is looking for an opening to get to that coon!
