WilkaCocha
Wilcacocha lagoon lies in the Cordillera Negra, near Huaraz. It has great views of the valley and the Blanca mountain range and is an ideal place for mountain biking and parasailing/gliding.
The lagoon is pretty small and accessing is hard due to a steep road in bad condition. There is a group of houses near the lagoon and if you plan to camp there overnight please ask the campesinos, be polite, practice responsible ecotourism, and do not litter.

Estimado Beto Siempre aprecio mucho tus fotos que me llegan en el in-box durante las horas del trabajo. Wilcacocha es una de mis sitio favoritos para desconectarme y encontrar tranquilidad y paz en mi mismo. Cuando yo mismo fui la primera vez por alla - te digo francamente me impacto tanto la belleza y la vista panoramica que no pudo evitar que mis ojos se llenaron con lagrimas..... Gracias por enviarme siempre de vez en cuando tus nuevos photos. Que te vaya bien y cuidate en las montañas Jenny
