Ripley and Blu Boy had a big litter of 7 pups. Puppy owners are encouraged to send me photos to upload and share here! They should be fairly high resolution (500KB-2 MB), otherwise the full-size photo will be jaggy. THANK YOU Ann Harris, of Misty Valley Rat Terriers, for letting us pair up Ripley and Blu to create this wonderful litter!

Ripley relaxes with her new litter.
Mila--now Abby--and her brother Milo were born quite small and undeveloped compared to their littermates. Perhaps they were conceived several days after the rest, or they were crowded during their development. It took a lot of TLC to nurse them along that critical first 2 weeks, but boy were they CUTE. They matured into normal, lovely pups, and are beloved pets.
Ripley was extra protective of the two tinies and especially Milagrita--our little miracle (she was near death when born). Ripley insisted on holding Mila and carrying her around, and I had to make sure poor girl had a chance to eat!
Bling and Jester exploring
Bling was just so precious, and still is!
Big Dexter, sporting his cute striped natural bob tail. This photo by Diane Lewis was given a full-page spot in the Kennel Club Books magazine "Rat Terriers", available from PetSmart or online!
Spring shows her high-drive style, obvious from a very early age and the reason I sought an experienced agility trainer to place her with. Expecting great things from this girl!
They're all tuckered out after playing in the yard.
Abby at 10 weeks. She's now all grown up, beautiful, and a well loved pet.
Milo, a natural bob, is my sister's baby. He's doing great, and you'd never guess he was born tiny and barely holding on for the first week of his life! The effort paid off!
Smartypants Skylar makes her show debut at 7 months. She's a beautiful small standard sized girl with gorgeous movement and a sweet personality. Kristen is becoming a talented show and agility handler--this team will be going places!
Skylar before her ears finally went up for good!
Spring is Alyssia's new agility pup, and I am so pleased they found each other. She's about 7 months old here.
Spring has a lovely expression and beautiful, rich colors.
Spring shows off her heeling. Alyssia is doing a great job, and Spring loves to train.
Ch. Smartypants Spring Loaded becomes a champion in two show weekends, at 11 months of age. So: Ratties with natural tails can win!
... and some judges appreciate a lean, lithe, athletic physique!
That one brown leg is too cute!
Spring playing with her "sister" Zippity.
Jester is a very happy little dog, and lives on a farm in the mountains with my good friends, their Kangal Dogs and goats. He's captured their hearts. And we hope he'll also capture and dispatch rodents in the barn!
Jester's athletic ability and enthusiasm were immediately apparent!
Jester's best pal is Annie, a Pyr/Anatolian mix.
Jester and Annie, howling it up together.
Dexter Dude! Our big, brawny "green collar" pup with a natural bobtail. He has much of his daddy in him, in his muscular good looks, personality, and size. About 15 inches tall and will probably be 16-18 lbs. at maturity.
Blu and Ripley get together!
Sire: RaganRat Bluboy of Misty Acres A beautiful dog with a truly awesome temperament.
