1 This bright eyed fellow is Jig.
2 He is two years old and weighs a little over 13 lbs.
3 He came to rescue from a neglect situation, which is really sad to think about since all he wants to do is be right with you and soak up all the attention you are willing to give.
4 He gets along fine with other dogs...
5 ... but really he's more about people. He is sweet and gentle with little ones.
6 And he is sweet and gentle with older ones!
7 He didn't have any difficulty transitioning to life in foster care. He just came right in and made himself at home.
8 Jig has been doing really well with his house training. He uses a doggie door like a pro. Without access to the doggie door, he might have an occasional accident if he has to "hold it" longer than 6 hours or so, but he is a real smart cookie who learns fast, so will surely be perfectly reliable very soon.
9 Since he is very food- and attention-motivated, training sessions are fun!

12 He likes to play my assistant when I'm at work.
13 Waiting and watching.... watching and waiting... ready to jump up into action as soon as anyone offers him any attention.
