1 This gorgeous girl is Genesis.
2 She had been found as a stray and taken to the shelter.
3 We were told that she was the sweetest thing EVER but needed rescue because she was showing some signs of a medical problem -- maybe with her back.
4 Geni is about 8 -9 months old and very much has a playful puppy personality.
5 At the vet she was really excited for the opportunity to play with the other puppies and their humans. She made everyone smile with her friendliness. But once we were alone, she settled in on my lap and just chilled, waiting for her turn.

10 Then she began having tremors and seizures, which became more frequent and more severe. Extensive testing was unable to identify the source of the problem. Finally the vet started her on some new meds, and within two days her symptoms were completely gone. It was as though someone had simply flicked a switch! It has now been three weeks with no return of even the tiniest problem.
11 We sure hope she is completely over whatever it was, because this kind of happy puppy playfulness is just too precious. (Click for a video.)

13 Genesis has had a truly amazing recovery from her illness. She is perky, animated, and eager to enjoy life to its fullest.
