He weighs a lean 12 lbs.

Isn't he photogenic?

He does seem to pose for the camera.

He is a very affectionate little fellow who likes to get pats and attention.

He will sit on command for treats or dinner.

He takes treats very gently.

Please may I have some more?

Bevin gets along great with other easy-going dogs. But he had troubles in his former home with a dog who would start fights.

Here, though, things have been completely amiable, and he and Cilantro even eat together with no concerns at all.

14
He has been completely well-behaved in the house, even when we're gone, and has not gotten into any trouble whatsoever.

Within 15 minutes after meeting Charles, he was ready to be friends.

Still a little unsure, but willing to give Charles the benefit of the doubt, in exchange for pats.

Ah, relaxing on the deck on a sunny morning with new foster sister Rosemary.

On a trip to Home Depot, Bevin did great. He showed minimal anxiety at the other shoppers, shopping carts, PA system, and industrial noises. He did great on leash, staying right by me but willing to greet fellow shoppers who stopped to say hi to him.

Bevin enjoys walks in our quiet neighborhood but does not like passing cars. He will pull as far away as possible and even stop walking if he thinks a car might be about to "get him."

He really doesn't like walking in the street. If there are no sidewalks, his preference is to walk in the yards rather than in the street. And for some reason he insists on walking on the right side of the street.

Waiting for someone to apply to adopt him...

...Might that be you?
