I also videotaped the event — mostly for the sound — and I planned to make the sound files available through this site... though it seems this is not possible, so the compressed video files will have to do.

What an amazing coming together of: people with the vision and determination; people with skills or at least a willing spirit; people with food and drink; people with sand and soil — and the trucks to haul it; and people with the necessary tools and machinery.

The deep tine aerating and reseeding was done by a contractor, FarmTek of Langley on Friday, July 10. (Moist soil was a problem earlier in the week.)
