I have 30376xx and it is as far as I can tell untouched. Barrel is 1-42.Both gas holes are present as are the lightening cuts and the tang is not through drilled. after 30 plus years in manufacturing I can attest to the "first in, last out" manufacturing process, so variants without the extra holes and cuts could have landed in stocks with grip cuts easily, I would say certainly. It may be impossible to predict what a rifle should have based on it's serial number alone, ever. lets keep trying!

I have Rem serial# 3037303. Barrel dated 1-42. It has many features like yours, however, there is no red painted 30-06 identification ring on the stock. The boxed RLB is stamped slightly sideways. The Tang is drilled all the way through. The lightening cuts on the receiver are present, as is the Gas Escape Hole on the right side.
