2.5 Gallon Planted Tank
Small desktop planted tank for some freshwater shrimp.  Still under construction.

I cut the rim and base off with a hacksaw.  I just had to make one complete cut at one of the corners and I could then easily pry the plastic off one edge at a time.

This will be the sump.  The divider is to create a section for the pump.

Well, this pic gives you an idea of how the sump/filter system works. The sump is just another 2.5 gallon directly below the main tank. there is a hole drilled in the bottom pane of glass in the main tank where i installed a 1/2" pvc connector and a rubber washer to seal it. There is a small tube that is attached to the pump (located at the bottom right of the sump) running up the pvc to the main tank. The water is constantly draining back into the sump as it is being pumped back into the main tank. Thats the best I can describe it.
