My kids got 2 red-eared turtles at the city fair. I am trying to learn all I caabout these turtles. I think they are new babies but the man did not tell us much i would like to know how often to feed them he saidevey 2 days but i read every day?

My kids have 2 red eared sliders from a flea market. They are very small and one is doing good but the other is smaller does not eat very much or open his eyes. Any suggestions??? We could really use them.. Thanks The Wandreys...

Hello, I have had my RES for almost a yr now.  He was very very small when I got him and he ate food pellets.  I recently bought him a 10 gallon tank and he has started to grow more and eat more.  I started feeding him live crickets a few days ago and he wants to constantly eat..how many crickets should I feed him on a daily basis?

hi i just got 2 baby res turtles, there not even 3 inchs yet. I fed them the pellets but they just spit them right out. can someone please tell me what to do. Thanks    Jessica.

hi my baby res wont eat for 1 week now and its hard for him to go on the basking place and also i saw things on his mouth would that mean he ate something and also what are some good things to feed him that he will actually eat!!!!!!!!:(((((( please help! :(  :( (*_")< turtle

I recently found a baby red eared slider in my garage. I put minnows in his tank to provide a different variety of protein. I also feed him mealworms, floating sticks and every now and then he will eat some cabbage. He at 10 minnows in one day and he is only approximately 2 months old. His shell is about 2.5 inches. Can someone e-mail me to let me know if it is normal for him to eat that much and some other helpful hints to care for him. Its hard to trust some of these websites for info.
