office stress reliever
I work at a pet supply store in Anaheim California and have my own office in the back. I set this small tank up next to my desk to give me something interesting to do on my breaks and to maybe get the owners to consider setting up a small display tank on the sales floor.

  • 15 gallon tall-clear silicone/black trim
  • 2x36 Watt 6,700K Power compact fluorescent retro-fit kit from Ahsupply
  • 2.5# Co2 tank with Milwaukee MA957 CO2 Regulator
  • Fluval 203 canister filter
  • Visitherm 50Watt heater
  • Fluorite/micro-pebbles gravel mix with a nutrient layer
  • Plants include Hygrophila difformis, Ludwigia arcuata, Micranthemum micranthemoides, Glossostigma elatinoides, and Eleocharis acicularis.

    Aquascaping goals
    Red lines represent how I want particular plant group to fill in, and the blue lines are where I want the dwarf hair grass to grow and sort of fill in the ares between the petrified wood "rocks".
