We are an UKC regional Rat Terrier Breed club licensed to offer conformation, obedience and terrier racing.  We are an United Kennel Club and an American Rat Terrier Association affiliate.

Our club hosts several multi breed shows as well as performance events throughout they year.  We encourage participation of junior members, as they are our club and breed's future.

We support local rescue efforts, participate in local pet expos to promote our breed and to assist the public with any questions or concerns they may have about our breed, we sponsor fun activities for our members as well as licensed events, and host a Holiday Party for our members.

Whether you or new to Rat Terriers, thinking of getting your first Rat Terrier, or just a fancier of our breed, contact us to learn more about our club, Apple Valley.

United Kennel Club was eEstablished in 1898.  The United Kennel Club is the largest all-breed performance-dog registry in the world, registering dogs from all 50 states and 25 foreign countries.

More than 60 percent of its 13,000 annually licensed events are tests of hunting ability, training and instinct.

UKC prides itself on its family-oriented, friendly, educational events. The UKC has supported the "Total Dog" philosophy through its events and programs for over a century.

As a departure from registries that place emphasis on a dog’s looks, UKC events are designed for dogs that look and perform equally well.

New Rattitude, Inc., is an all-volunteer rescue group for Rat Terriers and Rat Terrier mixes. We provide temporary living environments for abandoned, abused, neglected, sick, or unwanted Rat Terriers. In private foster homes, they are nurtured, socialized, trained, supported medically, and provided with professional veterinary care while we work diligently to find them new and permanent adoptive homes where they will be safe, loved, and properly and humanely cared for the rest of their lives.

New Rattitude, Inc., is a non-profit charitable corporation (501(c)3), licensed by the Georgia Department of Agriculture. Since we spend more on veterinary care than our low adoption fees cover, we are dependent on public support through charitable, tax deductible donations and fund-raising.

Ratbone Rescues is a rescue group dedicated to helping Rat Terriers in need.

As any breed grows in popularity, there is always the chance that some dogs will find themselves with people who don't understand their needs. When this happens, the dog may be abandoned, neglected or even abused. We feel a responsibility toward these unfortunate animals, and work to find new, permanent homes for them.

Ratbone Rescues has dogs in foster homes all over the United States. On this web site, you will find information on all of the dogs we have available for adoption. Our minimum suggested adoption fees, effective January 1, 2007 are: Adult Dogs $150, Puppies under 12 months of age 175.00 and AHT dogs $200.
