1 Isn't there supposed to be a group in this space?	2 Divven worry lads - I'll devastate them with me singin' voice.
3 It wasn't supposed ....	4 ..... to be funny.
5 Put Jim on .... he'll frighten them to death.	6 New backing group THE SYMBOLICS .. that's Sym in the front ..
7 Doesn't Paula look sexy with her new specs?	8 She really needed them. Sometimes she didn't see people until they were on top of her!!
9 I see Kenny and her aren't speaking again.	10 Robin had just flown back from Las Vegas .... ..His arms were nearly dropping off ....Boom! Boom!
11 Have you noticed how many people are wearing white shirts tonight. ..... Must have been a funeral	12 Here is another one .... Pete Lodge It is a pity Have Mersey couldn't make it ....
13 .... But at least we've got Van der Valk.	14 Alan W is doing a bit of of reflecting on his life ...care of Marmalade
15 "Awesome" Angie likes Marmalade too.	16 We call her "Awesome" Angie 'cos some yank put a comment on You Tube saying that she was fing awesome?*
17 She was two men short of a backing group tonight - so Colin, Alan and Billy obliged. Just about made up the deficit.	18 This weeks acoustic set was provided by Mike Gutteridge, formerly of Sixties group the Denmen, who was making his first visit to a VSL Club Night ....
19 .... and old pal Leo. Both of these guys were in fine voice.	20 Another welcome guest was Jack Carey who moved to France ....for health reasons ......
21 ... although I understand several husbands still found him ... even there!	22 Jack was once in a double act with Gentleman Jim Tait ....
23 They haven't changed a bit.	24 ... and just to prove that all the talent wasn't on the stage, this is one of our gorgeous barmaids. I'll try to get the other one next month.
25 Here's Colin and Bill with a copy of Health and Efficiency cleverly disguised as sheet music.	26 Here they are .. Tudhoe's answer to the Bachelors .... Art, Bart and Far....go!
27 We've even managed to get Colin up to the front.	28 The other Colin arrived just in time to give us one of his instrumentals.
29 I thought he had been performing at the Gala Theatre - but apparently it was the Gala Bingo:>)	30 Kenny got his tube out for us again
31 It was great to see Alan the Bass on stage again - with a different guitar again ....	32 .... and our old mate Brian who also had a new guitar. And they reckon there is no money about.
33 They were joined by Billy and Alan for a couple of numbers.	34 ... as was Billy Barr who had come all the way from ... errr ... Spennymoor??
35 Whereas I think Marie was just .....	36 ..... sent down from heaven. Ahh..
37 And a great big thankyou to five guys who worked their socks off for most of the night ... Mark, Colin ....	38 .... Billy the Bass ...
39 ... my identical twin brother Alan L ....	40 ...and Billy the Beat ...
