Amanda and Leona Matson joined us for a few days as did Milo Matson.
This man was struggling so the boys with us pushed him up the hill.
We prayed for this lady who is about to die from AIDS.
This man is about 30 years old and has worked at the orphanage since day one. He is handicapped, but he is a faithful worker. He shined our shoes everyday.
The smaller pastors training group.
Don't you love the color and the smiles?
Woman at the well.
We loaded up lots of people in this boat to cross the river.
Sunday School at Pastor K's church
This was a common occurance. The boys and girls in the orphanages are all so precious.
This was at the 170 pastor seminar. Doctor Kumar pictured did all the translation wonderfully.
Years of very hard work must be done by the faithful women of India.
This is the standard India Christian greeting. They say Wondanaleu. (not sure on spelling) this is similar to our God's Peace! They do not shake hands.
This girl had the gift of clapping really beautifully.
Typical in village churches. You will notice that at least 90 percent of most congregations are made up of women and children, not only in India, but in many other countries around the world.
The 170 pastors at the pastors at the second pastors training seminar.
These were the night services. The crowd went as large as 1000 or more. Outdoors, notice the tree!

Ann-Marie from Finland has been to India 9 times, and this time it will be for 5 months. She volunteers at the Mission Hospital as well as helps in other ways.
We baptized 10 in the river on Sunday Morning. All new believers. They baptise the children of Christians as infants by sprinkling.
They answered in the affirmative to all the questions asked during the baptism. Thank the Lord there are new people coming to faith. In India and other places, this is sometimes a dangerous choice to make.
At the beach with a still in use fishing boat. Our 3 faithful body guard pastors were always with us for protection. (on left)
