The travelers on this trip put together and donated 4 bicycles and 4 drums for various very poor pastors.  The bicycles save many miles of walking each week!

This poor widows pastor husband very recently died of cancer.  It was a such a joy to be able to help her.

A group of bible scholars that knew English stopped by so we gifted them a Joseph book! These were the only people that knew English that we saw besides our hosts who were also our translators.

The travelers on this trip donated personally to host 8 of these camps which served between 800 and 1000 very poor people.

Many services were late at night and very large.  The largest service had 2000 people.

This is the congregation that had to witness a pastor beheaded during the sermon.  When captured by police, the murderer still had the head of the pastor with him.  They have no church building, but have a total of 400 members for their street services.

Young people leading in singing at one of the many of late night large outdoor services.  This one was on the street.  All sermons are broadcast throughout the villages with ver loud speakers.

This oxcart was on a small road, but you can meet these in the center of the city or on the largest highways.

Pricialla and Aquilla.   Aquilla told us that he just got back from winning the release of a Christian that was bound because he was a Christian.  Where did this happen? Exactly where we just came from before we met Aquilla.  No wonder we did not get a good feeling at that place.

These parents tragically lost the two pictured daughters by drowning. This happened a few months ago only a few hundred yards from their home.
